4.2017 College Renamed to Washington Polytechnic Institute to provide for all STEM education.
7.2016 Re-authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council as a private four-year college.
1.2016 Added Degree Minors to Bachelor Degrees.
9.2014 Moved to larger facility at 1414 Meador Avenue, Suite 104 within the Haskell Business Park.
7.2014 BS and AAS in Mechanical Engineering Technology First Offered
7.2014 Re-authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council as a private four-year college.
9.2012 BS and AAS in Civil Engineering Technology First Offered.
7.2012 Authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council as a private four-year college.
6.2012 Held first graduation.
9.2011 Moved to larger facility at 1301 Fraser Street, Suite A3 within the Haskell Business Park.
1.2010 Licensed by the Washington State Workforce Board as a private two-year career school.
11.2009 Washington Engineering Institute was Founded in Bellingham Washington

 

Authorization of College and Degrees


The Washington Polytechnic Institute is authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council and meets the requirements and minimum education standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree-Granting Institutions Act. This Authorization is subject to periodic review and authorizes the Washington Polytechnic Institute to offer specific degree programs. The Council may be contacted for a list of currently authorized programs. Authorization by the Council does not carry with it an endorsement by the Council of the institution or its programs.
